MODREK

Privacy Policy — Modrek Platform

At Modrek, we are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your data. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our classroom response platform.

Data we collect

Account data: name, email, and phone number when you register. School and student data: names and identifiers entered by the school or teacher to organise classes. Session activity: answers, scores, and classroom participation to generate reports. Technical data: information required to run the service and keep it stable.

Camera use (app only)

The app may request camera access only to scan QR response cards. Images are processed on your device in real time; we do not store or save any photos or videos of teachers or students on Modrek servers.

How we use data

We use this data to provide educational services, run live sessions, and generate performance reports. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Analytics are used in aggregate (without identifying individuals) only to improve product quality.

Storage, encryption, and security

Modrek relies on secure infrastructure using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted through strict row-level security (RLS) policies so that only authorised teachers can access their students’ data.

Teacher and school responsibilities

Teachers and schools must obtain any required consent from guardians or authorities before entering student data. Import data only if you are authorised to process and share it under your institution’s policies.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or permanently delete your account data from our systems at any time via account settings or by contacting us.
